Interesting website design. Idea is that it feels like browsing a catalog. Check it out

Jin Kim_pictogram

It is a pictogram designed by Fabia Dellsperger.
This is designed to explain typical swiss society topics to chinese students.
It is interesting to see how she illustrated pictograms to make a design.

Airline Safety Card

When I started researching pictograms I immediately thought of airline safety cards and how they use pictograms and graphics to communicate safety procedures. In my search for an example of this I found the safety card that was used in Fight Club, for those of you who have seen the movie. Anyway, here is the link.

I just like the line quality and the colors of these pictograms. I think they are simple but the line quality gives them a neat affect.

Puma Pictograms

These are just little humorous pictograms on Puma's merchandise tags, shoe boxes, etc. I wanted to post them because I always see them and I guess I never realized they were considered pictograms. They are always pretty funny and just fun.

Pictograms

This is a pictogram on a t-shirt, which is supposed to accurately depict what occurs on a bus.

I also found an artist who uses photographs of himself dressed as a pictogram.

Falling People

Bungee jumping. Found it in a LiveJournal group called pictogramms. The page has a ton of other funny/ very strange signs and pictograms. Enjoy.

2 x 4

File this under design agencies to watch. In addition to the IIT pictograms, 2x4 created an installation in the Prada NYC store branded as "Guilt". This was an exhibition of the brand standards manifested on the wall.
